Wiremold by Legrand XB814CLVBN Outdoor Ground Box Cover Assembly
The Wiremold XB814CLVBN is a waterproof outdoor power box cover assembly in a textured brown finish designed to be installed in the ground, the cover assembly provides twelve communication ports, or 8 Legrand AVIP devices. The cover assembly must be installed in the sold separately XB814 empty box.
Outdoor Rated Design
The box is made out of a UV rated material that is designed to withstand any type of harsh weather. When installed in the XB814 box, it maintains an air pocket protecting the devices and plugs in the box for year-round operation. The gasket seals have been tested to perform under six feet of water for over 24 hours. The box meets IP68 requirements even while in-use, now you can use your cables in any weather even when they are plugged in. The list of certifications include:

Flush to Finished Ground Installation
The box blends in perfectly with any outdoor space including grass, mulch, concrete, brick, pavers, dirt, walkways, patios, and more. Install in any outdoor location that requires safe power including shopping centers, campuses, amusement parks, sports fields, transit, and hospitality locations. The built-in cable guides organize cables and line them up with the smart egress doors that auto adjust to allow for easy management of cables exiting out. The egress door also auto closes and locks when no cables are exiting the box.
The cover features a 5,000lb load rating for occasional vehicular traffic, or groundskeeping tractors and mowers.
The cover installs in the 2-gang XB814 box, that box can be installed separately or ganged together for increased power and data in one location. The box can accept up to two 1.25" PVC conduit connections, one for the feed and the other to daisy chain.
Installation and Usage Notes
This is the cover assembly only and requires the sold separately XB814 empty box.
The ground box electrical circuit must be protected by a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) upstream from the ground box.
The cover must be closed while in use. Use only molded plugs and cords that are rated for outdoor use that are no larger than 6 gauge.
The maximum length of plug allowed at the end of the cord is 3".
The cover assembly can't have both power and data in one box, however 2 boxes can be ganged together to achieve power and data.
The box can be installed in concrete, but not fully encased. The bottom must remain open for drainage.
The cover features a tamper resistant key lock if security is desired.
The lock nut tool XBLNT is sold separately to secure nut on conduit.
